Yes — the app is free. Everything you need to run your team (voting, rosters, availability, payment splitting, ringers, tournaments) is included at no cost.
What happens when someone drops out?+
One tap. SquadLock alerts players who can cover the position — your own squad first, then opted-in players nearby, ranked by distance and a reliability score earned on real matches. You can also post the gap as an open slot and let it fill while you get on with your day.
Does it handle payments?+
SquadLock splits the pitch cost automatically across confirmed players. Payment is handled via your team's existing method (Monzo, Revolut, etc.) — we just do the maths.
Can I run tournaments?+
Yes. Create a tournament, set the format, open registration, and SquadLock picks the optimal bracket (round-robin, knockout, or groups). Teams and free agents can register, and scores update in real time.
