Terms of Service
Effective date: 10 June 2026
By using the SquadLock website or app you agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. SquadLock is operated by RM Technologies Services Ltd, 101 Devonshire House, Aviary Court, RG24 8PE, Basingstoke, UK.
1. The Service
SquadLock is a squad management tool for organising recreational football matches. It helps teams vote on time slots, manage rosters, find substitute players (“ringers”) and track pitch costs.
2. Accounts
You must be at least 16 years old to use SquadLock. You must provide a valid email address and create a password to use SquadLock. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. One person may not maintain more than one account.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- • Use the service for any unlawful purpose
- • Impersonate another person
- • Interfere with the operation of the service
- • Attempt to access accounts or data that do not belong to you
- • Scrape, crawl or use automated means to access the service
4. Payments
Pitch cost collection is organised between team members outside of SquadLock — we do not process pitch payments through the app.
5. Payments & In-App Purchases
SquadLock is free to use and currently contains no in-app purchases or paid subscriptions. If we introduce optional paid features in future, their full terms (including pricing, billing, renewal, and cancellation) will be presented at the point of purchase and this section updated accordingly. Any club or organisation plans are agreed and billed separately, outside the app.
6. Content
You retain ownership of any content you create (team names, match details, etc.). By using the service you grant us a licence to store and display that content to other users of your teams as needed to operate the service.
7. Availability
We aim to keep SquadLock available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend the service for maintenance or updates.
8. Limitation of Liability
SquadLock is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so — this includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under the laws of England and Wales. If you use SquadLock as a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11. Changes
We may revise these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
