Pricing questions

Is SquadLock really free?+

Yes. Every feature is available today at no cost — no trial, no credit card, and nothing behind a paywall. Download it and run your squad. There is one optional in-app purchase, the Supporter pack, which buys extras and never unlocks a core feature.

Are there ads?+

No ads, anywhere. No banners, interstitials, or sponsored content — and we never sell your data. Development is funded by the optional Supporter pack today, and by Club subscriptions when they launch — never by selling your attention.

Do you take a cut of pitch payments?+

No. SquadLock just does the maths and tracks who has paid. Players pay each other directly via Revolut, Monzo, bank transfer, or cash — money never touches our system.

What is the Supporter pack?+

A one-time purchase (£19.99, lifetime — never a subscription) for players who want to back the app: extended analytics and match history, custom team branding, a supporter badge, early access to new features, and a Ringer Boost included every month. It is live in the app now, and entirely optional — every core feature is free without it, and stays that way.

What is Club mode?+

Club mode is for clubs and leagues running multiple amateur teams under one account — a shared ringer pool, centralised payments, and club-branded pages. It's in early access and managed separately from the free app; see the For Clubs page to get involved.
